Retaining our mental abilities is one of the
most important health goals we have.  Having
a healthy body keeps us independent.  Having

Accentuate the Positive
It’s worthwhile to feel good about being
yourself, whatever your age, state of health,
wealth, or appearance.  Being realistic,
surprisingly, is not the key to happiness.  
Being overly optimistic is the way to go.

If You are What you Wear, then Wear Glad
Rags!
By wearing bright colors, we can improve our
moods, and make ourselves more appealing
to others.  Bright colors not only protect you
during hunting season in the woods, they also
keep you from getting hit by a car as a
pedestrian.  Cars are more likely to stop for
pedestrians wearing bright colors than those
wearing dull colors. In fact, brightly-colored
clothing is much more effective than a
pedestrian crossing sign in getting the
attention of motorists. (
